California car with 44 year ownership

This 1970 Mercedes-Benz 280SL sold new in Los Angeles, then purchased by a Southern California owner in 1975 completing a 44 year ownership until 2020. Powered by it's matching numbers fuel-injected 2.8L inline-six paired with a 4-speed manual transmission. Finished in it's original Silver Metallic over black leather color combo. Respray occurred in the 90's, but still shows incredibly nice. The interior and some exterior chrome does show patina, but it is a complexly rust free unmolested example. Mechanically the car is 10 points and sale includes some historic service receipts. Data card provided by Mercedes Classic is also included and confirms all matching components. Additionally all factory books are accompanied with the car as well.
