2020 build by Vintage Motorcars

This Porsche 356 Speedster replica was built by Vintage Motorcars of Hawaiian Gardens, California, and it is powered by a 1,914cc flat-four paired with a four-speed manual transaxle. The fiberglass body finished in black and mounted over a modified Volkswagen Beetle chassis, and equipment includes a black soft top, a vintage-look stereo, a wood-rimmed steering wheel, 15″ Aluminum-finished Rudge-style wheels, independent rear suspension, four-wheel disc brakes, mesh headlight guards, and Cinnamon leather upholstery.

The fiberglass body is finished in Aquamarina Blue and is fitted over a shortened Volkswagen Beetle chassis. Features include a blue soft top and matching top boot as well as chrome accent trim, a single-grille engine lid, 'Carrera' fender badging, a reproduction Reutter badge on the right fender, and “GT” bumpers. Chrome-finished 15″ Rudge-style wheels are wrapped in 195/65 Kumho Solus TA31 tires. Equipment includes independent rear suspension as well as four-wheel disc brakes.

The cabin features fixed-back seats trimmed in cinnamon leather, and matching upholstery covers the dashboard, rear parcel shelf, and door panels. Gray square-weave carpets line the seatbacks and floor panels, and features include a vintage-look stereo, drilled aluminum pedals, and a handbrake.

The wood-rimmed steering wheel features a colored Porsche-crest horn button and frames vintage-look VDO instrumentation including a 120-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and a combination gauge for oil temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer displays just 100 miles.

Blue and Cinnamon square-weave carpets from COCO carpets also line the front trunk and fuel tank, the latter of which features a chrome filler cap.
The air-cooled 1,914cc flat-four is rated by Vintage Motorworks at 115 horsepower, and it is paired with an optional “Freeway Flyer” four-speed manual transaxle with a 3.88:1 final drive.
